Initially a challenge for me, I now find these portraits really enjoyable and satisfying to paint. I like the
complexities of creating different skin tone by mixing my own colours, and because I do not use projectors
or tracing paper etc., I can alter and emphasize certain features to my liking. It is all in the eyes . . . . . . . .
